Italian food is not the same the world over.
In Italy pasta is generally served as a starter with meat and fish being the main course; people do eat antipasti before the starter sometimes but it is often as a special occasion.
We know this of course; And this is why we serve almost all of our pasta dishes in both a starter and a main course size, after all, you never know when an Italian will drop in with their family.
That said of course we love pasta here and sometimes a starter is just too small, think about the Fettuccini Aragosta, Venetian ribbon pasta with Lobster, Brandy, Peas and Tomato. It really does have to be main course size!
Ok, now I’m hungry, I have to go and eat!
